Brizzly
This week, we are supposed to explore a different internet browser. Yesterday, I decided to explore Mozilla Firefox, but today I decided to change it to Google Chrome. I explored the browser today, and it's ok! I dont really like the look and appearance of everything. It kind of confuses me. I feel that internet explorer looks more smooth, and it looks easier to use. But I got the extension, Brizzly. This is for twitter. When someone posts a picture, video, etc, it shows up underneath the post. This way, you do not have to click on the link to look at the picture, or whatever it is. When I first got the extension, I liked it. However, the right side of it is locked. If there are things below what you can see on the right, you cannot get to it. You have to exit out of things to be able to see everything. The DM are also kind of messed up, but I mostly like it.
iGoogle
One of our assignments this week was to create and iGoogle account. I didn't realize that I already had one. I think I created one on my phone a while ago, but I forgot about it. It is really cool. You get to personalize your google page. You get to pick what you are interested in, and they put it on your home page. I really like it! Hopefully I will continue to use it!

Hard Drive
I learned how to take out and put in a hard drive the last time I got a loaner. Today, Alex needed to switch her hard drives because of a problem on her computer. I went down to the help desk with her, and I got to show her how to switch her hard drive with the loaner's hard drive.

Twitter is my favorite site to go to! A lot of people complain that it is hard to use, and they do not get it. I dont think there is anything to get...you post updates and your followers can read them. Unlike facebook, your feed only consists of updates from the people you follow. You can easily post a picture from your phone as a twitpic and put a caption under. It breaks down a barrier between normal people and celebrities. They are typing exactly what is on their mind...in their own language. It does not go through somebody else first...it is directly from them! I like this(I really like it when Miley had her twitter). You can choose who you want to follow. You can follow 5 or 5,000 people. There are so many good qualities about it, I could go on for days!
Wikipedia
I like Wikipedia because it is very easy to use and has everything. If you search something on google, wikipedia is one of the ones that pops up first. It is very accessible. It isorganized well. It is said that anyone can change the information on this site, but have many people done it? This is could be the same situation of another website. I use this site for many school research projects, and I do not think that somebody would change the information on webpages with history, etc. I could see this happening for more modern topics on Wikipedia. And as we talked about in class, there are monitors of this site. If something is on there that shouldn't be, it can be removed.

New Computers
I forgot to post about the new computers for next year that we got to see a few weeks ago(well actually I forgot to post about a lot but...). They were so cool. They look so much nicer, they can turn both ways, they are TOUCH SCREEN(!!), the keyboard and front part will not peel, the battery is longer, and there are many other neat things about them. I cannot wait to get them, and get rid of the ones we have now!
Processes
I finished my list of processes last week(and you never collected them...cough, cough). I didn't know how many things had to run on my computer, and what they all meant. It is interesting to look at things like this, and see what my computer does. I never realize how much my computer does, and it is interesting to see what it does. It was also interesting to see what each one meant, and to really understand if I needed each one.
